The construction of the second phase of Aster Homes, announced by Aster DM Foundation as part of the Re-build Kerala project for the flood victims of 2018, has commenced. Hibi Eden MP carried out the state-level inauguration of the construction by laying foundation stone for the house of Enpathil Thaiveppil Thankamani in Chernalloor panchayat. T. J. Vinod MLA, Cdr. Jelson Kavalakkat, CEO, Aster Medcity and representatives of Cheranalloor Grama Panchayat were also present on the occasion.
In March last year, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had handed over keys of the first 100 houses built by Aster DM Foundation in various districts in the state. In the second phase, Aster DM Foundation is building 150 houses for the flood victims in Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Malappuram and Wayanad districts.
