KAF’S Café, known for handmade burgers, will open its outlet in Kozhikode on Saturday. The outlet, located on Customs Road, Kozhikode Beach, will be inaugurated by Kanthapuram A. P. Aboobacker Musliyar at 11 am. Dr. Karim Venkitangu, Chairman, KAF’S Café, will preside over the function. It’s the second outlet of KAF’s Café, which is a very popular burger outlet in Thrissur.
Addressing a media conference, Faizal Abdul Karim, CEO, KAF’S Cafe, said, “We have been in the burger business for the past 34 years and sold over one million burgers over the period.
The grilled burger was introduced by us in Kerala in 1985.” He further said that the outlet in Kozhikode will act as a favourite place to chill out. The special items at KAF’S Café include Mohabbath Burger, Kozhikodan Tirado, Zinger Burger, Kandari Burger and Scotch Egg. The burgers and mayonnaise are made inhouse at KAF’S Cafe. He added that the burgers are made fresh in their kitchen and not taken from the freezer and fried on the spot. As meat is the main ingredient of burger, special attention is being given to identify and use the best meat. He also said that fresh buns are made every day.
